ALEX Accu-Scan Water Analysis

lmetblue.gif (1220 bytes)

New this year is our Accu-Scan test strip reader which links directly to ALEX our Pool and Spa Water Analysis Computer.  With Accu-Scan linked to ALEX™ your water sample is analyzed, the data collected is computed and your prescription prints out in about 5 minutes total time.  WOW!   While you may miss the great stories we used to tell you as you waited for old lab to analyze your water, we believe that we'll now have more time to help work with you solving any problems particular to your Spa or Pool.

How does Accu-Scan work?  Accu-Scan is an advanced test strip reader that can measure up to 7 different factors in your water and then send the data collected to ALEX™ without anyone having to type it in.  Not only are the interpretations of the reagent color change eliminated, but the previously required secretarial skills are greatly reduced.

We at SIERRA NEVADA SPAS are happy to provide this FREE service to our customers who purchased their pools & spas from us, but we do charge $12.50 for those who purchased elsewhere.  Please remember the water test we do here in our laboratory is only good for the water we have just tested.  To help assure that your Pool or Spa is safe to use 24 hours a day, you must do your own testing at home and you must learn what chemicals are required based on the testing you do at home.

We encourage you to bring in a water sample from you newly refilled Hot Tub or Spa.  The most accurate water sample will come from the water taken out of your refilled spa and not from your hose bib or tap.  We want to test the brand new fill water once it has mixed with what ever water was left in you spa pipes.

For swimming pools take your water sample away from an inlet and at a depth of about 18" below the surface.

Protect your water sample from freezing or baking in the sun and get it to ALEX™ as soon as you can.   The better the sample collecting you do the more accurate a result you will have.  SIERRA NEVADA SPAS thanks you for helping us provide you with the most accurate water tests possible.
